Championships & Tournaments

EGU Mobile Tournament Office

During 2010, EGU Championships will be heading to some of England's finest golf courses.

And this year, entry into each Championship will be made easier. From March 2010, players can enter online.  So keep your eye on this site to ensure you don't miss out on the chance to play at the highest level in amateur golf in England.

Host courses for 2010 include:

- Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake - which staged the Open Championship in 2006 has generously agreed to host the Brabazon Trophy.
- Little Aston and Sutton Coldfield - the venues for the English Amateur, the latter hosting an EGU event for the first time.
- Sherwood Forest - a regular venue for EGU championships will stage the Mid-Amateur for the Logan Trophy.
- Carlisle and Eden Golf Clubs - will host The Seniors Championship, which retains its early summer slot at the beginning of June.
- Hesketh, Prince's and Woodhall Spa - for the Junior Championships. The Reid Trophy being played at Hesketh, the McGregor Trophy hosted at Prince's in Kent and the Carris Trophy staged at the home of English Golf, Woodhall Spa.
